Almost everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Our initial room was very small with almost no natural light, the windows were small and we had to hunch into to see the view. The bathroom was so tiny that we had to cover the toilet and floor with towels so that the water from the shower wouldn’t get everywhere. We had to switch rooms because we didn’t have hot water. When we switched rooms they delivered our room service to the wrong room and when we did get our food my husband couldn’t eat his meal because we asked for pasta with a vegan sauce and they sent him cheese pasta. I had some chocolate covered nuts from the mini bar that had an odd taste and then noticed that they were expired. When we checked out we waited for our car for 25 mins and they ended up bringing the wrong car and we had to wait some more for our car to come.
The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The front desk manager did end up reimbursing us 50% of our stay, so they definitely made it right by us.
In the end, the rooms are definitely not worth the price. The carpet must’ve been neglected because both of us had difficulty breathing during our stay. I would also not recommend this hotel if you have any dietary restrictions because they are unable to accommodate.

Not up to 5 star hotel standards in my opinion
Staying at Le Chateau Frontenac has been on my bucket list for a while. It's a gorgeous hotel with luxurious interior design. I was lucky enough to get upgraded to Gold floor and get to experience the superior full on customer service. Staff are knowledgeable, patient and helpful even they were super busy. It is pricey comparing to other hotels around the town but the service and experience are absolutely unparelledly awesome.
We’ve stayed at many Fairmont hotels around the world and this is now one of my favourites! The service was very friendly and we appreciated that they all wore masks (we’re still in the midst of covid but a lot of the general population seems to forget that). It’s not the largest Fairmont but it’s cozy and the decor is gorgeous. The little bar in the back had great service as well and felt like home. We can’t wait to come back! Plus the location is perfect... so many restaurants and views just outside your door!
We loved it here. We stayed here during covid and enjoyed our getaway nevertheless. Room service was delicious and prompt. Top quality food and rose-scented toiletries. Classic yet modern decor. We felt like kings and queens. Super service. Gorgeous views of St-Lawrence.
Lovely place !!!! Been here so many times and is still my #1 fall / winter place to spend a quite weekend. The restaurants and bar inside are super too!
