There was a cluster of COVID cases here recently. Basic protocols of mask wearing, social distancing, temperature checks, hand sanitizing, rarely enforced or seen in action. Overcrowded 'private' office floor plan with narrow hallways and shared air ducts makes it impossible to de-densify or social distance at recommended 6 ft. Unavoidable high-touch doors, buttons abound. Limited to no access to fresh air in the common areas, majority of offices. Limited outlets. Spotty internet. Sorry Nathan, you surly anarchist. Not recommended.
We rented Pencilworks for 2 years. Lovely space with really great light as many people say. The location is excellent, right near a load of great places to eat and drink.
Whenever there was an issue it was dealt with promptly and taken seriously. It's a bit more personal than your average space, but that's what differentiates it. The day-to-day staff were absolutely amazing and very diligent. The place was always immaculately clean.
Very sociable if you want it to be. A lot of dogs!
Moving my company to PencilWorks last year was a terrific decision. The workspace is really comfortable with beautiful views, and most important, it’s easy for clients to meet me there. The building owner makes a point of being there every day to help out with anything tenants might need. A+.
This place is so cool! Wonderful spot! Great location.
I'm a director/editor and worked out of PencilWorks for just under a year. It was the perfect space for my edit workstation, with ample room for two computers and a bunch of hard drives.
The shared area has two things that are essential to most workspaces: coffee and printers. The community at PencilWorks is positive and energetic, while respecting each person's work day. Nathan, the community developer at PW, was always quick to respond to any questions or needs that arose.
I now work from home, but if I ever need a workspace again, I'll return to PencilWorks.
