The pizza was good abs authentic. It was very well done. Totally recommend it if you are missing some Italian food. Drinks are nice. The inside of the Resturant is nice comfy, and very authentic. They burned something that smelled so nice. It was defiantly fresh. I am just not used to mushrooms with tomato sauce but it was good.
Amazing pizza that tastes like straight up from Italy. Atmosphere is gorgeous with all the plants, ferry lights and wooden tables. Their house wine is totally fine and not too expensive. Don’t expect the most covid-friendly place as the staff in the kitchen didn’t always wear masks.
The food is amazing. 10/10. I get bruschetta and pizza and fresh orange juice and I add my own vodka, lol. The atmosphere is stunningly beautiful. There’s a little black cat named Luna that hangs out by this one table so my kids always run to get that table and snuggle Luba. Having dinner here has made our nights in Tulum so magical.
The owner shares the WiFi password so I’ve gotten work done over dinner too. Wonderful place
This place exceeded our expectations and we were so impressed that we ate here twice on our trip!
First, the service is very good. They are attentive, making sure you have what you need, clearing plates as needed, spacing out the courses.
Second, the food is fantastic! We had the margarita pizza, the caprese salad, and the bruschetta. Everything was amazing. Perfectly cooked pizza with that slightly crispy crust. Flavorful bruschetta. They serve a couple spicy sauces that go well with the pizza.
Finally, the atmosphere is lovely. Lots of lush garden and low lighting. Grab a glass of wine and enjoy!
Hydra has exceptional food! By far the best pizza I’ve had in my four trips throughout Mexico. The atmosphere and ambience is great, the signature cocktails interesting and the house wine was great, and all the servers were impeccable. They forgot the basil on our Caprese pizza but gave us fresh basil on the side - which we actually prefer haha- once we asked. Price was very fair considering the quality, as you can easily spend the same or double in Tulum for food nowhere near as good. We hope to come back soon!
