I'm in town for the winter and my home Internet couldn't handle all of the Zooming. I was happy to find Lift. They are following all of the COVID protocols - the space feels safe and comfortable. The wifi has been great. The space has a ton of natural light - I even got to work outside for awhile yesterday which felt great. I also love the standing height desks. I've met two members who were both very welcoming and helpful.
What a great place! I was passing through the Truckee/Tahoe area and worked at Lift for about a week in August. Jan and Brian couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating - they are really focused on building community both at Lift and in Truckee, which was really cool to hear about. I have worked at a lot of coworking spaces across the world, and Lift is one of the most welcoming spaces I have had the pleasure of working at for sure. I will definitely be back one day!
I really enjoy working at the Lift. It's exactly what Truckee needs. The atmosphere is open, airy, and welcoming. The amount of conference space and phone booths make it easy to get the privacy you need. I'm far more productive here than in my previous office.
My most productive work hours happen when I spend a day at Lift. I never have a problem getting space in a phone booth, and I get a chance to meet people from all over the community. It's the procrastination cure for remote workers like myself.
