There are nice hiking routes up. From time to time you have to stop and watch the view, it's amazing. From every spot you'll find something interesting, from different angles different composition.
Really love the hotel. The staff were quite nice. Its quite charming. I loved their garden at the back and the rooms were quaint and lovely. Would definitely recommend!!!
This was one of the best food experiences in my entire life so far. And the service was very professional. If you are anywhere close you should not miss this extraordinary, beautiful place.
Budget hotel, top notch service. Highly recommended for the budget. Breakfast was included and had a fairly good spread. The courtesy and helpful staff was the standout compared to other hotels.
My sister and I stayed for a week in late September. We had single rooms which are small , but comfortable, clean and adequate. However there isn't a balcony or view, but this didn't bother us as we spent very little time in our rooms. This hotel has fantastic views from the restaurants, lobby, pool area. You are right on the sea. We found the waiting staff lovely.Considering they were present at breakfast,lunch and dinner they were always very pleasant . The breakfast is buffet style and has hot and cold choices and even champagne. Lunch and dinner are waiter service. The food is excellent, with good choices available. Overall there is a lovely, homely feeling in this hotel. I actually cant wait to return. Tossa de mar is beautiful, and the Reymar added to our wonderful holiday.
In our last vacations in the area, we took one week for diving activities, and landed in Tossasub Diving Center, a SSI certified dive center. Although it was like 40 minutes no traffic from our place to Tossa and the dive center, we kept coming for a week!
The main diving spot, Platja Mar Menuda as entry point, and the creeks and rocks around Punta de Sa Llonga, and the little island L'Illa, surprisingly were an amazing dive spot! If you like to go to one place and discover and explore it, I'll recommend to stay put around this from the surface small area, underwater it reveals labyrinthic and awesome.
The rocks forms alleys and passages underwater, and still after 7 dives, I'll dare to explore myself only a few places around, without fear of getting lost.
Between rocks and sandy bottoms, and some sea weeds, the underwater fauna was also surprising. Beyond the usual Mediterranean fauna, you can spot some pelagic fishes like barracudas and most amazingly: sea horses! In almost every dive we spot 1, 2 and 4 sea horses! And cuttle fishes! And many moray eels and octopuses!
Of course that also this was thanks to the amazing crew of Tossasub: they know the area well, experienced divers all, and great underwater empathy with their customers, adjusting the level of difficulty to dive well within your limits. And pointing to all the right spots: here a moray, there a barracuda, here an octopus, and here and here the sea horses.
With a dive center well run and organize, that you can see and feel, every dive is a just relax and enjoy it.
Equipments for rent are in great conditions, and the have for different type of dives. Also as SSI certified, you can start diving there and growth your diving skills all the way up.
We had a very great time, I highly recommend them and I will go back if visiting the area again!
Lovely place, run by a very kind gentleman and his family.
Two of us had a nice room on the upper floor, with a view of the small swimming pool surrounded with a beautiful flowers and palm trees and a hill above.
The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool was also nice.
Location is very good, practically in town center but enough distanced to have a peaceful time. Bus station is just a few minutes walk from hotel.
If I ever decide to visit Tossa again, I would gladly choose Hotel Sant March again.
Brilliant, gorgeous hotel. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Food in the restaurant is some of the best I have had in a hotel. So much choice. Entertainment every evening is first class and things to do in the hotel during the day is great. Cannt recommend this hotel and it's staff highly enough.
When we arrived, we had a booking for just one night in a more modest room on the second floor. We loved everything so much in that little town that we decided to stay for another night. The hotel offered us the suite at the top floor. They said that it’s the best room in the city. And it was. Bathroom with a huge window overlooking the beach, four balconies. And the price for it was very affordable.
Great hotel. Friendly staff, great food, comfortable, situated up a slight hill near to old town decorated very traditionally but very clean. Quite majority of stay other than couple of nights when large group were stayi g and were loud. Restricted parking next to hotel but car park just on next street. Highly recommended.
Great place, great location, good price and very nice staff. The breakfast is brought to the room which is a nice touch. The staff was also very compliant with current covid situation.
The walls are a bit thin and there are some stairs, both things we didn’t mind but some might find important.
