A co-working space located near the corner of Bathurst Street and Spadina Avenue - downtown Toronto. 5 story building with individual offices; open workspace area; meeting rooms; breakout areas; lounge; reception; coffee/tea; beer keg. Great for startups that want to give their company a professional appearance instead of working from home or out of a Starbucks coffee shop.

Bright space, quality design and amenities. I've enjoyed working here at all times of day, making use of the boardroom with a view and the podcast room. The community events bring in a great mix of people. One of the best co-working spaces in the city, and I've tried a ton!

Really amazing space with tons of amenities, as a shared office space this has got to be one of the best options in Toronto. But beyond that Spaces has a community unlike any other, with super friendly members, tons of professional and social events (that you actually look forward to going to!), and a really helpful team of people running the place. Even if you're on the fence about needing to get a desk at a co-working space, I'd highly recommend it to anyone as a great way to stay productive, network or even just make new friends in the city.
8 Good Gorilla

I was in Toronto for a conference but had a day to kill before my flight, so I decided to seek out a co-working space to work on my dissertation. I ended up choosing Good Gorilla because it looked like it had a lot of amenities, including ergonomic chairs (though these are technically only available to the dedicated desk individuals), and because they were one of the few that publicly announced they had a day pass option. Hugh at the front desk was helpful through email before I arrived and when I showed up to work. The whole place had a great vibe, and there are dogs! But they mostly kept to themselves and were very well-behaved.

Edward and the staff are great. My small team and I really enjoy our time at the Adelaide location. The one-star review proves the each-their-own saying. It is not a library setting, but no co-working space is. We came from another very popular/well-reviewed place that was easily 3 times more noisy and much more expensive. Noise wise, Verk is excellent and everyone is really good and professional about it. Location, ergonomics, amenties are all top-notch. Definitely should be on your list of places to tour.

I checked out over 5 co-working spaces in this general area before choosing this one. In fact, I knew immediately when I came in and it has lived up to my expectations ever since. It it beautifully designed and full of natural light, which is awesome. It has 2 patios, it's clean, it's close to everything, the staff are nice (especially Jael!), and the co-working space is not shoved in some dark back corner or basement. All my clients and colleagues have been impressed too, which I suppose is a bonus. :)

I started working at Make Lemonade after running my own business for 3.5 years. This was the exact infusion of positivity and support I could have asked for. The physical space is amazing- clean, bright, comfortable- but the community is what really raises the bar. Events and networking have elevated my business, and I have accomplished a lot more working at ML than I would have on my own. Definitely suggest to anyone in Toronto, or passing through. Not in Toronto? They just launched an online community as well- excellent response to covid.

15 Staples Studio Toronto - University Ave

If you’re looking for a co-working space that has everything you need to work on your business or project - literally anything - and in the hearth of downtown Toronto, Staples University Studio is your place. I have been a member for almost two months now, and I have enjoyed my stay. I come here to get my creative juice going. Bright, high ceiling, well-spaced spaces and peaceful, the working environment is pleasant. You can also have unlimited free coffee and tea to get your caffeinated; there are decaff options if you like. It sure is different from other co-working spaces that I have tried, and I think that this is one of the best. There are two meeting rooms that can be combined for a bigger group. There are three phone booths that you can use to take your phone calls or Zoom meetings; that will keep your conversations private. I used to travel for work and worked in hotels sometimes for two weeks straight, and I wished I had something like Staples to work in. This studio is ideal for small businesses, startups, freelancers and consultants who need a space without wanting to invest in an office, much cheaper than a $1,500 office space. I have a monthly membership and get an upgrade to get a dedicated desk and a locker to store my things and not carry them around. It also comes with six hours of meeting room rentals. Muriel, the community manager, is there to help you with your needs, from finding stuff in the attached Staples store to booking/changing rooms. Your membership comes with other perks, including corporate-rate gym memberships, discount on car rentals, discount at Staples and more. Take advantage of those benefits! Do I recommend this place? Yes yes yes!

I've worked at a company in the Startuptive offices for almost 2 years now and it's been a great experience. There's always hot coffee and snacks available, and the building we're in has a gym that keeps off the calories from the snacks. It's never an issue to get a private meeting room and we have small soundproof call booths for important calls. There's a great lounge space with comfortable seating for lunches and meetings as well. Oh! and there's a PS4 ;)

Project spaces, at both this location and it's other space at Camden, is the best experience I've ever had with co-working. It's a very friendly, accessible and motivating atmosphere in a cozy, welcoming loft space on the top floor of the building. There's free coffee and tea, great wifi, and plenty of tables and desks available in the comfy lounge space, nevermind the private desks available behind a second set of security doors within. Several useful boardrooms, locker rentals and a generous and warm staff make for an excellent solution for people looking to break the routine of working at home constantly or struggling to find a new routine as they begin or continue with either a personal business or start up their own. Furthermore, modular membership rates and month to month programs can help a lot when you're trying to be responsible with a personal budget or controlling your overhead for your own finances.
TLDR: Great space, with great people, and great rates to help small businesses or Artists & Designers struggling to find some peace and quiet at home.
I've been using the space for a year and take full advantage of the lounge access and locker rental to store a lot of my artist materials and kit that I don't want to carry back and forth every day.
