This place is well maintained
I have used Regus offices throughout the US for over 5 years and have gone to this Regus as least five times in the past 3 months. The staff are always helpful and professional. I have an account so I simply check in and they show me to a room that is clean and nicely decorated. I have never had a problem with Regus. Of course, you have to pay to use their offices! You can't just walk in and use an office without having an account. I recommend Regus to all of my business clients!
Good work space
Here is my recent experience with Regus - Tampa: I searched Google for Tampa day office because I had to kill roughly 3 hours before my flight and would have preferred to work in an office rather than at the airport. I called this location and explained what I needed. They told me they could accommodate that request.
When I arrived at the location, one of the two front desk attendants told me that I would need to set up an account and have a profile created with them. I inquired as to why this would be necessary. After all, Regus is supposed to be all about client convenience. I should be able to show up, give them my credit card to pay for the day office and then get to work. The process should be quick and easy. This first attendant handed me off to another front desk attendant.
The second attendant named Carolyn insisted that I have to have an account and profile set up in their system. I gave her my business card so she could take down the information. I then said that I did not want to receive any emails or solicitations from them and that if they couldn't agree to that to please list a fake email address on the profile. The second attendant had no interest in responding to my point about solicitations. She didn't tell me whether or not they would spam me, whether or not I could opt out of emails, etc. Instead, she said, "Do you want to rent the office or not?". At that point, I told her I was no longer interested.
Carolyn then made a comment to the effect that they had a lot of bookings today and that she had done me a favor by trying to find space for me and accommodate me. The entire time, this Carolyn person kept making comments like, "I'm sorry we can't help you" and "You have a great day" in the most snide, passive aggressive manner possible.
At this point, I very calmly told this Carolyn person that I found her so discourteous. The other front desk attendant said, "Yeah, well, that's how I felt about you when you first walked in here."
Impressions: Amateurish, unprofessional, discourteous, not accommodating, bad front desk staff. For a provider of day offices, they are terrible. For a provider of executive office space, I would never want to deal with the type of people that they have staffing this front desk and the location is relatively poor (near the airport, not downtown in a business district).
Shared office space. Free coffee and wifi.
