Reviews from visitors:
More of a daycare than a ski school. No update on how your child is progressing. Also, you need to buy a seperate ski pass for their group, as the all mountain pass for Szczyrk apparently isn’t enough. Apparently that is stated on their website, though the manager running this particular site couldn’t show me that either.
Communication prior to arrival was poor, I booked through check yeti.
Basically you drop your child off into a small room at 9am where they can colour in, they get picked up around 11am and taken in a bus somewhere for a lesson.Lunch at 12 then another lesson, they are back at the room in the hotel around 2pm.
Paulina was difficult to work with when I asked about the ski pass scenario, told me that I should have asked about it. I’m a bit old fashioned and think that that was their responsibility.
I really wish they had given updates about how your child was progressing.
On a positive note, Agnieska was great and very friendly with the kids.
I probably would book private lessons going forward considering the price of this crèche.
For children who are skiing a bit, the Eskimo kindergarten is not a good choice, they are still riding on a donkey meadow at the White Cross, the possibility of moving to a purely theoretical school. Nice atmosphere.
Thank you for the answer below. I agree that my daughter doesn't run perfectly parallel, but she's already riding the fourth season and is good at skiing. During these six days of riding on the same donkey meadow in Eskimos, she did not train her ride, she even got rid of using poles. Maybe you could consider creating an intermediate group, for children who already ride confidently, on slightly more demanding routes, which are not lacking in Szczyrk? The offer would then be more complete. Regards.
I definitely recommend it! We used the ski-kindergarten option for children without skills. For kids, it's a great time - some fun and some learning with the prize at the end. Generally a loose and friendly atmosphere and instructors.
For parents: some time for themselves + a happy child = more or less a recipe for a successful vacation;)
Thanks Eskimoski!
I do not recommend! 6h organized classes are a joke. With 6h children only 2h ride on the slopes (actually they are on the slopes because it's hard to call learning) and spend the rest in the bus and changing clothes. Big confusion, crowded groups of children and when the parent wants to Finding out something is a lack of information. We were not the only parents who had reservations and unfortunately not the only ones who did not take anything from "ski" classes. I like Szczyrk so I will go back to another school. This year I'll check Dimbo :)
Cool! People on the level, everything organized from a to z. Possibility to pay by card, all computerized, children's skills analyzed daily. I'm impressed. Austrian level. In fact, in Austria, children didn't really want to go with instructors, and they didn't want to leave the Eskimos.
