If you live anywhere in the Northwest Florida area, especially the Destin and 30A area, and need a competent and professional real estate company, broker, or agent who truly understands the real estate market, is meticulous, and will always have your best interests in mind, do yourself a favor and use Somers and Company.
After some previous not-so-good experiences with other real estate “professionals” in the area, I reached out to Somers and Company and could not be more thrilled that I did! John Paul and Rachael came in and immediately put together a solid, intelligent plan to get my property sold. They truly understand the market dynamics and how to deal in real estate - especially in this area. Selling or buying property is more than simply hanging a sign, listing it for sale, or showing property. They ensured the paperwork and all the listing details were well thought out from the beginning. They were excellent at communicating, keeping me informed and up-to-date every step of the way from initial meeting through closing!
John Paul has the necessary experience to truly excel in the art of negotiating offers. He and his team understood all the variables, market influence, and all the dynamics associated with pricing and offer negotiation and they used their knowledge to get me the best offer on my house. They helped identify potential problems before they arose, which made them easy to prevent or mitigate.

Save yourself tons of time, hassle, and grief by using a professional team that will always have your best interests in mind. We had wonderful experiences with Somers & Company both as a property seller and as a property buyer. Their professionalism in performing their duties and their ability and willingness to spend what was necessary to market our property certainly raised our enthusiasm for their organization to a high level. Each step in the process was executed properly and succinctly and excuses for non performance were never offered or needed. We are confident in their abilities and will not hesitate to have them represent us in the future.
My husband and I needed to sell quickly in late 2014 and Rachel Earley and the team at Somers and Company were recommended. Rachel met with us and really seemed to know the area and, after looking at our house and reviewing comps, made a recommendation for a selling price. Our house was showing often and we had a great offer within 6 weeks! We had moved out of state and Rachel made the process of accepting an offer and then going through closing very easy. We would highly recommend this company when buying or selling in the South Walton area.
