Awesome team! Super helpful and responsive support. Janet managed to make the requested reservation modifications to fit my hiking plans! Five stars )
Nice place with a hipster-backpacker vibe. We found it a little expensive.
This place is very well decorated and overall cute. The downstairs common area is comfortable and a nice place to hangout, work, or just people watch. The rooms (at least the deluxe) was spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good and a medium/short walk to bars and restaurants. The place does feel more like an upscale hostel than a boutique hotel though. You have to wear a wristband during your stay to show you're a guest, which makes me feel like I'm going to a music concert and not staying at a nice hotel. Pool is available for a fee. Rooms were clean but I wouldn't say spotless. Some noise from the outside street was able to be heard, and although there are curtains and glazed glass, the rooms didn't feel entirely private. I would say there are some designs elements that didn't quite come together here- including bathroom windows that open onto public areas. I would have also liked some welcome info in the rooms such as explanations on how to work the projectors, which apparently only work if you have an iPhone and Apple tv. Overall I enjoyed my stay but likely wouldn't stay again.
The only 2 good things about it are the curtains in the bed, to have more privacy.
The other one, the big yard.
Out of that, this place needs serious adjustments.
Very dirty. Poorly maintained. Kitchen is very small and can't take all of its guests. Lack of kitchenware.
The place itself lacks of organization as well.
Staff was nice. But they just do the check-ins and check-outs and I wasn't given any info about the facilities. Which I didn't know they had, until the last day.
Also, web says they have a gym, pool & others, but is not specified that it is for an additional cost.
Such a pity as the place has potential.
I'm NOT coming back
One of the best hostel i stayed in. Clearly THE place to be in Bariloche, super easy to meet people there, regular events and activities, possible to eat and drink are okay and price was fair.
It is a bit outside of the center, nothing crazy but climbing the hill every now and then may be an issue for some people.
I would go back there if i go back to Bariloche and i would even recommend it to travellers which i rarely do !
