A beautiful space with a great and helpful staff. They practice social distancing which is great! Lots of amazing artwork to see and a great souvenir area. Get all the maps and local information you need.
Love the mermaid tree carving. Good information about island and history.
Very nice staff. Good selection of postcards, etc. and you can buy stamps from them. A convenient mail box outside is perfect for dropping off those newly purchased postcards.
We did ! Don't for get to check out the River Scout Overhead and Aquanaut on the second floor. You can really describe the exhibits- check out just a few of the pictures. We saw the penguin stroll and the dolphin show. Times are listed in several places around the aquarium. We spent a good four hours checking out the exhibits. There are additional experiences and encounters you can buy. Check their site for those and the prices. There is cafe available if you get hungry. Great aquarium, but maybe wait until the shark experience is done and it will be even more exceptional.
The woman at the front desk was really nice and generous. I loved the stuff turtles with hoodies.
