I love the square for a dink. The hotel is located at the center of it; also great to do a walk on the perimeter walls protecting the old city from the sea; beautiful
A welcoming place. Really good room size with comfortable bed. Good size bathroom with a large shower. This was on floor 3. Plenty of choice at breakfast but don't try boiling eggs because you need to put them on the day before or practicing for a few days. All together,it was a great stay. Super location. Good bar out front. Breakfast, desk and bar staff attentive and pleasant. Well, that's all I can say..
Perfect location near everything you want to see in historic Saint-Malo, but noisy at night until 1 a.m. due to outdoor bar areas nearby. Comfortable basic hotel with friendly English fluent staff. Has a small elevator. Does not provide laundry service, though there are laundromats not far away. Lots of eating places nearby. Tip: To get away from crowds and higher prices, walk a block or two back from the city wall.
I was at the outside seating area, not as a guest at the hotel. Probably the nicest one to have a drink at of all the bars at the square near the gate. Nice staff, good prices, they give an aperitif with your drink, they don't treat you like cattle...Nice
5 star location in San Malo and 3 star on accommodations themselves. Friendly staff and historic location. Perhaps best location in the old town itself for coming, going and shopping. Good base location for seeing the town and surrounding sights. Averaging to 4 stars.. with heavy emphasis on location itself.
