It was OK. Bought corner room, needs more lighting.
Nice bath, nice shower, good sound proofing.
Breakfast was worst I've ever had though which is why 3star. Most of my work team just didn't eat it and went to a local bakery.
Very good choice of stay in Rīga, location location location and excellent check in service. Although there was one receptionist working, she was very speedy but informing of the hotel and surroundings at same time. Breakfast was fine but did not use the restaurant in the evening. Small fitness, decided to go for a run instead in the park beside.
I would go back and would choose the corner room again, small upgrade was given as we had so much luggage for 15 euro extra. Very clean throughout, difficult to find any dust as I am allergic.
A good hotel at a very good spot of old town. All facilities are fine. The bed was very comfortable. Big nice bathroom in our room with jacuzzi. Unfortunately it didn't work. Breakfast was good, staff nice. Good stay overall.
After having perfect experience 2years ago when hotel was still named ASTOR we expected thatb3 day stay would be highlight of our visit in Latvia, however jets in Bath were not working, understaffed during day, horrible breakfast quality and incredibly poor choice comparing to our last visit, none of old staff members however most if them were kind, manager however wasnt that helpful.
It turned out breakfast wasnt included in our reservation and staff came to us during breakfast to ask us pay for it (understandable) but bad timing, astor haf breakfast included in reservation.
It turns out that for wattery omlete cold bakon and rock hard toadted bread, which wasnt hard from toasting... Costed us 10 eur for person per breakfast.....

Breakfast and non working jets was incredible disappointment and despite that cozzy feeling from last time was gone..
Its all in details for us and free breakfast welcome drinks definitely made our day 2byears ago however only thing we got in morning was poor and bad quality breakfast with less than 30 percent of choice we had 2 years ago.
The terase on street was gone,,, definitely huge minus and noone could even see menu because probably there wasnt one.
Its understandable that hotel and kitchen might be short staffed but if our wouldnt be that densly planned we would ask for refund right afyer first night and breakfast..

The bar was closed, no room service, the restaurant only served breakfast. However, front desk team is great. They have a small fitness room with dumbells, cycling machine and TRX.
