We were craving steak and I didn't know many places in Quebec and the ones I knew opened late in the evening so I picked this restaurant based on google map reviews! Turned out to be a really nice restaurant, great service, friendly staff.
Steak was delicious, the sauce was exceptional, I don't know what the ingredients were but I got a hint of mustard we asked for a side of salad instead of fries for two of the plates but I absolutely loved the fries, they were fresh, salty and crunchy!
Well, its one of few restaurants that perfect this dish, I didn't say its my favorite.
I wish they have branch here in Toronto, I guarantee you a full house for few years.
OMG was so juicy and greatly cooked, you don't have to have teeth eating such a steak.

Not enough social distancing in the restaurant. Very slow service, ordered a medium well steak and they served a burnt one instead. Waitress was great but looks like they have started to lose their good quality and they are not as careful as the competitors on covid19. We have visited this place 8 times in 5 years and last two was both disappointing. Can't be a coincidence. Used to be our favorite restaurant in Quebec city. =(
One of the best steaks in town ! A must try people ! What amazed me more than the food was the professional and quick service offered by the waiter who was kind enough even to give as suggestions about choosing from the menu, I was there on the 5th of Septembre around 2 pm and the guy that served us deserves 5 full stars, the food is amazing for the value, Keep it up Entrecôte Saint-Jean ! Definitely will visit it everytime I'm in town !
We loved it! Service was really good and the food was delicious. I had the duck salad and I loved it! I definitely recommend this restaurant, it completes your Quebec City visit.
