An oasis, a quiet bubble, a tranquil retreat. Staff are always happy, smiling and willing to help with anything. Food is outstanding. Could not find any food outside that was better than the hotel food. Pool was hardly used although warm. Outside spaces and gardens immaculately kept and quiet with no shortage of sunbeds. Nearly everything the hotel did was better than my expectations even for a 5 star. All of the guest we spoke to had been many times before. We never saw more than about 20 other guests at one time. We will be staying again and no doubt and become regulars. Small point, for ladies who like to sit down to do their hair and make up for the evening there was no dressing table/chair/mirror in our ground floor room. Good lighting and mirrors in the bathroom though if you don't mind standing. In summary though overall "did not want to come home, could just live here forever".
Don't stay half board! A very peaceful pleasant hotel with fabulous breakfast and tranquil pool and garden area. So minimalist that it is hard to get any information and there is no atmosphere in the bar or restaurant in the evenings when they are both virtually empty. The very small evening menu means if you stay 7 days you have to repeat your choices and dishes are often unavailable. Waiting staff are great but reception and housekeeping have information retention problems. You can eat at sister hotels but at the price you will already have paid these are not attractive options. The ingredients used are superb quality but choice limited. Maybe B and B is the answer.
The hotel can be find between a beach and one of the best shopping street in Playa de las Américas. It has common garden with Hotel Mediterranean with the same programs. The hotel is beautiful inside and out.
Looked after very well. Lovely spot, quiet pool. Only saw two Kids all week. HURRAH.
