Car hire pick up from the airport went smoothly. Depot was great. Car was scratched and had dents but was clean. Examined the car in detail and took pictures and marked the paperwork accordingly. However on drop off - noticing staff with glass cleaner and going over all cars with a fine toothcomb they tried to make us sign the paperwork with an added scratch. we protested - the glass cleaner was out and the stand off began. I managed to rub the 'scratch' out with the sleeve of my jumper. The alleged scratch was above the rear lights so it wasn't even in a place that could be bumped or scratched by another car. Never again. Utter scam. not even apologetic. they simply are out to scam tourists. Use them by all means as they were cheap but it comes at a price.
Had a great experience here renting a car for our trip in Mallorca. We booked in advance through their website (which we found through Kayak) and got a great deal on an automatic SUV. When we arrived at the airport, the shuttle was easy to find with the directions and it was a short 5min drive to the rental agency. Processing took about 15 minutes, and returning the car was even quicker. Overall, very happy with our experience and I would recommend OK Rent a Car.
We found them online, wanted to book the car online for €105, but decided to walk to their shop because it was just 100 meter away. They told us not to book online because it would take at least 2 hours to get in their system. So we were advised to reserve it straight at their shop as we did. Then they kept us waiting for an hour for the car to be ready. Turned out they now charged €240 for the same car when you book in their shop. After all, we lost over an hour of our time and left without a car.
Terrible company. Stole money from me.
Worst service ever. Unfriendly, unprofessional. Watch out what you sign for because they tend to make you pay supplementary unnecessary costs.
Also, avoid as much as you can the front desk lady called “Maria” - Italian, long hair with glasses. VERY unprofessional, doesn’t know the appropriate prices and wants you to pay more then what you actually have to. And in cases of Problems, she refuses to let you talk to the manager. Also she recommends to drive without insurance.
