Paradigm Gardens is a beautiful and very well kept and weedless garden. I misread the plant sale today and arrived after it ended, but the staff still allowed me to look around, snap photos and make a purchase. I did appreciate it.
So many zinnias, sunflowers, herbs, and ginger growing. There is a small goat farm here as well.
I do recommend Paradigm Gardens and will definitely return. I will also ask to volunteer. It is that wonderful.
4 Orangetheory Fitness

I feel so fortunate to have found a place that aligns with me on several levels. Over many months of trail and errors I finally found a fitness program and establishment that supports my goals and desire to be healthy - mentally and physically, which is a tall order for an arthritic, 50 YO woman. This is a place that consist of real girls and boy, who are healthy, juicy and putting their best foot forward VERSUS individuals not necessarily reflective of the norm. I say all that only to profess my love for all the people - working and members - who show up every day and in every way! I can not say enough how much I appreciate the coaches, especially Brooke, Jeff and Sasha! Do right by you and give it chance - don’t let fear, hesitation or lack of willpower to stand in the way. I promise you every second spent here is worth it!!!

You must go to the artist showcase on Wednesday nights at 10. There are no amateur performers. Watching the people perform is like watching history happen before your eyes
There are vendors indoors and outside. You can get good drinks for $6-$10 at the bar.
Guaranteed good time! Not bad for $5 admission

This garden is huge! The flowers were in bloom October weekend. It is well maintained. The gardens do have rental packages available. This would be an amazing site for a gathering or wedding. The price was $5.00 I walked the entire garden in under 2 hours.

Very cool spot. They had hire my company, Crescent Kinetic Massage Therapy to offer chair massage in the past. A very relaxing space with cool architecture elements.

I've only been there a few times as guest (most recently, last wk in June- as well as when they first opened up) This is great facility/venue that also offers tremendous support to our vets in a variety of ways- including tremendous deal on office space! Hope they continue to function and they deserve community support in so many ways!

I just started working at The Shop and absolutely love it. The layout is excellent, the kitchens are well stocked, and the community is extremely welcoming. I highly recommend checking the space out!
11 Renaissance New Orleans Arts Warehouse District Hotel

Beautiful hotel in a very nice area of NOLA. A lot of great restaurants within walking distance and the streets are quiet at night allowing for good rest. The hotel has a great gym with Peloton bike, weights and steam sauna. Nice heated pool on the rooftop with great views of the city. We were able to swim in the pool in 60 degrees weather and had a great time. Overall, this will be my go to hotel in NOLA, way better than giant 30+ story hotels nearby. It feels more like a boutique hotel with great facilities.
Breakfast was decent and the restaurant also had a great happy hour from 3 to 8pm with super yummy discounted food and drinks.
12 Press Street Gardens

This little garden provides produce to NOCCA’s Culinary Arts students and Press Street station and also sells it to area businesses and residents. They also offer workshops to educate people on gardening, nutrition and sustainability. It is quite lovely and has proven to be a sensible reallocation of space that previously functioned as one of the premier lurking destinations favored by many members of the local heroin injecting community.
14 Harbor Community Collective

Harbor Community Church is the complete opposite of any church I ever attended as a kid. It is a place of acceptance; focusing on a relationship with God and friendships. It is not about a bunch of rules to follow or hoops to jump through to be in God's good favor. The messages are down to earth and relate to everyday life. This church is truly about being the church and helping the communities around them instead of just being a church building. If you are looking for a place to find a new side of God and some new friends with questions just like you; Harbor is a place to visit.
15 Propeller Incubator

This is a thriving social business and nonprofit incubator off the beaten path and well worth a detour. Propeller is special in that it is also a coworking space open to the public, with event space available at hourly rates for many kinds of community gatherings. People stop in from all around the world to learn about how Propeller focuses on New Orleans Health Care, Education, Water and Food issues. It is very personal, and a great resource for networking with good hearted people who care deeply about their community and the environment on micro and macro scales.

I have been working here with my small office of 4 for over 6 months and Launch pad is incredible! it's cheaper than Regus, they don't charge you for every little thing; just one flat rate.
There is an awesome community available for almost any kind of help as well.
17 Crescent Club

The expression goes "not all hero's wear capes but what about an Apartment community that could save a new resident of New Orleans? That is exactly what the Susan and Diana did for me. Being new to the area and not sure where to live I visited several properties but all of them seemed out dated and saw me as a bank account. Not at the Crescent Club! Impeccable luxury living very quick turn around time on communication and any and all issues big or small. They treat you like a a friend who welcomes you to stay and stay here you will want to after you meet Susan or Diana and tour the property.
Save yourself the time and headache of trying to find a place to live I did the work for you this is the BEST Mid-City has to offer.
18 French Quarter Firehouse

We had a group of 10 people gather for a ‘big birthday’. Engine24 Firehouse has 3 huge common areas, the outside patio was our favorite that made it nice for us to gather. The additional fridge on the ground floor was very handy.
The 2 bedroom suites off the patio were my favorite. No matter what room anyone gets the high, high ceilings and authentic architectural detail make this a unique gem. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and finding amazing spots to enjoy some of New Orleans finest cuisine.
19 Scale Workspace

As a small business in New Orleans, I can honestly say that partnering with Scale Workspace has been one of my best business decisions this year! Their mission to support the creative, entrepreneurial, and start up community in New Orleans is both admirable and close to my heart, plus the staff at Scale always goes above and beyond...and it really shows! 10/10 would recommend.
