Reviews from visitors:
The pieces in this museum have some mesmerizing power which makes you look deeply in every image. Collected with love to art. If you visit Madrid and decide that Prado is enough - don't make this mistake.
I loved it
Was a bit reluctant but loved the experience. Went during July and I was pretty much the only person, most people (tourists) are not in Madrid. The Rembrandt exhibition is very good but the main exhibitions are amazing.
Amazing museum, part of it a private collection. The paintings are divided by centuries, so you can start a journey from the top floor with the oldest ones until the modern art on the ground floor. Totally recommended, free admission on Monday 12noon till 4pm.
We went there on the free day. It is well organized, easy to move inside. It has something for every taste I think. I found three Van Gogh's and the Dali to be quite worthy. Overall good experience.
One of the most interesting museums in Spain. Definitely you must go there.
