Very quiet social distancing enforced.
A very clean airport and friendly staff, my only criticism is the security staff require manners but other than that faultless service passing through both ways. Lots of shops to browse whilst waiting to fly out with options for food and a quick turn around for luggage upon entering Tenerife.
A great airport which is easy to navigate.
Disabled access is available throughout the airport and wheelchair services are also available, but you must register for this service prior to check-in.
There's plenty to spend your remaining holiday money on.
Only downside is there are no real places to charge electronic devices prior to your flight.
arrived early for my flight at 4:20am (not through choice) and despite the airport being open after I was inside for 5 minutes the security told me to leave. I had to go outside and sleep on a bench and get bitten by mosquitoes. Lovely to see the human compassion going strong
Usually excellent process through arrivals. Not this time. Having spent many months keeping a social distance and complying with all the rules on the flight, we were bused from plane to the terminal (bus was not crowd). But arrival at the terminal we were discharged into a crowded stairway and passage (social distance was impossible) that was slow moving because of inadequate health form monitoring arrangement. This area needs a rethink. After that, progress through passport control and luggage collection was good.
Health form monitoring would be better served when leaving the aircraft as this is one person at a time.
