Nice position but terrible service. Went for a takeaway coffee and the lady could not understand me and my partner properly. when it was time to pay, before even completing my transaction, she was already talking to another customer. Then, when we asked if the payment went well, she totally ignored us. I might understand the hurry to serve another customer if the store is busy, but not when there is just one person in the queue.
Such a treat to access a vegan hot chocolate on a cold winters day in the middle of lockdown. Thank you for your service and being there
It's nice but dated and tatty decor. The staff are brilliant. Unfortunately the outside is cocker block on a daily basis by Asian males, me and my friends find this quite intimidating. They take up all the seating outdoors and chain smoke consequently the smoke blows inside too, so there's no escape. Shame, but I don't want to smell like an astray even when sitting indoors, nor be made to feel intimidated by all these hoarders of Asian males either
The worst Cafe Nero I've ever been in. The servers were beyond rude, especially a middle-aged woman with dark curly hair I assume was the manager. Her attitude was disgusting - she snatched the loyalty card out my hand very aggressively, definitely not what you should be doing during COVID. Speaking of which, I saw cleaning products strewn around the place, but no staff actually using them. When it finally came, my chai latte was barely drinkable. Dreadful. Will be going to Starbucks around the corner when it finally reopens.
