Spacious convention center, with beautiful Japanese landscaping. There wereimuted good options, but perhaps it is due to reduced operations during the corona pandemic.
Highly recommended for those who love architecture. The building itself is huge and made of concrete which makes it unique and simple the same time.
Also sakura blossom is beautiful over there!

Out of town into the mountains. Discrete and very nice. Amazing place that hosted the UN conference on environmental issues that promulgated the Kyoto Protocol
If you love architecture you must visit the place. Love cycling? Even better. Built Outside of the city this amazing structure is must to see while in Kyoto. Better get an excursion if you can manage the date. I believe they do it 2 a month. We simply came for the restaurant and get entry passes. We skipped then restaurant as the interior was worth to explore. Do not to forget to check out the hotel next door. The circled hotel Grand Prince I believe.
