Reviews from visitors:
Not a good place to work. Not recommended if you are running your own business with international clients and when you have to work with clients in different time zones. Some of our clients from abroad start their week on Sundays, but on Sundays they close at 5 pm, on religious holidays they close the office and you cannot work. People are shouting across the floor to each other, having their phones on, doing loud phone calls, watching movies. People don't care if they make loud noise, also the staff doesn't. YOU COULD ALSO WORK FROM A CAFE. If you want to work focussed, expect that other people around you will disturb you, because they don't use conference rooms or the phone booth. On weekends we needed to work with a church club, who brought their kids over, played instruments and was singing. And if you complain, they tell you that you are too sensitive – super unprofessional staff! Not to mention that the contract states to *not disturb other people*. We stayed at the office at Al. Powstania Warszawskiego and had tried the office at Olszanska street before, where a few people use it like a call center. In the end, we left the office during our lease, because we didn't feel that the staff wants to address our concerns. They should be happy that you want to improve something, because their co-working is not even rented out to the half capacity, simply because people who come, don't enjoy working there. Never again BiznesLab or Lobos, to where the office belongs. Worst co-working experince we had in the city.
I've been using Bizneslab for over two years in three different locations. Since the last year I'm using Bizneslab PW and I'm happy with it to the point that I don't imagine changing it.
The office has a great kitchen, semi-parking around the office, great location and first of all, great people in it. I've made friends here with whom I meet also after work. It's fun, it's focused, it's great.
I agree that this office is not always the quiet, but it's an advantage for me as I feel quite comfortable here. If noises (it's really not that loud!) do bother me, I just put my headphones on and that's it.
Another advantage is a shop downstairs where I can do basic groceries.
I do recommend this office, come in, give us a high five and you'll never leave :-)
I worked from BiznesLab for about 3 months, the office space is nice but it’s not run professionally. I had several issues, with the ones below being the most important ones:
1. Noice and lack of office rules
Most of the tenants who were employed professionals thought it’s normal to do Zoom meetings from their desks in the open space. This was the biggest issue for me, as it was common to have 2-3 people around me doing long calls at any given time. The office is equipped with a nice phone booth and everyone has meeting room allowance, but no-one would use them.
There were no rules about office noice and calls, apart from that you shouldn’t disturb other people. This is so broad to the point that it doesn’t mean anything to anyone.
2. The management was unhelpful
When I brought this feedback to the management they became defensive, and I was told that the co-working is not supposed to be a “quiet” one, whatever that means. I felt that they rather took it personally and I was a “troublemaker”.
They advised to tell people when they disturbed me, but this shouldn’t be my job (there is an office manager to keep the peace) and it only made me feel further uncomfortable.
I shouldn’t have to tell people older than me to take their private conversations to the kitchen, or to not shout across the office, or to go to a booth if they plan to Zoom/call for an hour. This was exactly the dynamic between remote workers who were long-term tenants.
Final thoughts
If you need a place to do focused work or you have remote work etiquette, this space is probably not for you. If you enjoy this kind of dynamic, then you will probably enjoy it.
Having rented a dedicated desk in BiznesLab for over a year, I can wholeheartedly recommend this coworking space.
Granted, it's not as quiet as having your own office (or home), but also nowhere near to the level of noise I have experienced in the corporate open-space offices in the past. The atmosphere is great, with professionals of all trades sharing the common space, so a chance for extending your network and an interesting conversations in the kitchen (with a very decent tea selection ;). Staff is also friendly and trying to accommodate the needs of the coworkers.
I would have wished for a bit more sunlight on the office floor, but otherwise it's a very decent coworking, with competitive pricing. For me, working remotely, it's an ideal solution to avoid being locked in for the whole day every day :)
I have rented a desk and a conference room many times and I can confidently recommend it! Very nice and helpful staff. Great atmosphere between people, a photocopying point at the bottom and a shop with office supplies which is a cool thing! Well-equipped kitchen, tasty coffee, well-equipped rooms! I am a regular visitor and I highly recommend it!
