It’s a great and tranquil place to work with lots of cool spaces to sit for both members and non-members. It is in a random area right next to the freeway but the food and drinks are good and slightly expensive but not bad. The bathrooms are clean and the WiFi is relatively fast. It’s got great decor too.
I was wandering around this area when I noticed a sign for Intelligentsia coffee (a Chicago coffee brand) and suddenly felt the need for a taste of home. The barista was kind and she tried to school me on the WiFi situation. I went upstairs to the actual co-working space and it was beautiful and quiet. I didn't get to use the WiFi but it was good to know that I could've if I'd had a membership. Would definitely return.
That's is so warm and blessing from the garden , they prepare a very good food and wine to gather all of us together to know each others, that is very nice Xmas party
Co-working space at a convenient/central location. Well furbished, highlights are regular events for members and the terrace - great spot for a relaxing coffee.
After attending the Intro to Startup Mentoring Intensives, I am very excited about working on my idea and at the prospect of getting mentoring. The informative and interesting event showed the importance of getting your "guesses" confirmed as soon as possible and how best to do that. If you are in Hong Kong and want to get truncate your learning curve then get involved.
They are 5 weeks behind paying us our deposits back and now ignoring our messages and emails.
When we were 2 days late paying our rent because of travel they locked us out of our office.
Update 3 weeks later: they still have not paid
A fantastic find in Hong Kong's Shek Tong Tsui. Perfect space for hot-desking as a freelancer. Great daily rates and a clean, friendly, bright space to work in with reliable wifi. Convenient location to access from MTR also. Would totally recommend this to anyone freelancers for a co-working spot for the day / on an on-going basis.
The Hive Sheung Wan is a great space - I am on a part time membership which allows me plenty of hours each week to use the hot desks. Although it is getting busier each month that I'm a member, there has always been space, and more often than not there are just a pleasant number of co-workers around. The atmosphere is good - not complete silence, not loud chatter, but a nice buzz of activity. The staff are always around and helpful, and it is lovely to be greeted with a smile upon arrival. It feels like a community space, and most importantly, I am very productive when I work here!
As a new startup in Hong Kong there are a number of aspects we needed to get correct from day one to give ourselves every chance of succeeding. Becoming part of this vibrant community at The Desk has been the best decision we've made to date and has alleviated many fears a young business might have. I can't emphasis enough how accommodating they've been allowing us to concentrate on our exciting challenge ahead. Thanks guys
This place is great! The facilities are well designed, the common areas comfortable and the overall dynamic is welcoming and inspiring. Concentrate in your private office and collaborate in the living room. I find it a great place to not only get work done but also network with many different companies and people that add value to my work. Definitely have a look when you get a chance. They aren't the same oversize corporate you get with other brands of a similar model.
Very good coworking space. Great facilities and quieg atmosphere. Reliable Internet connection and plenty of power outlets with adapters. Staff was really nice. Will come back when in town
I worked here for 3 months and absolutely loved it. Run by very friendly people, the wifi is strong and reliable, good seating layout and so handy to the MTR. It was nice to have the free drinks and snacks available too. 10/10 would recommend.
Matteo, the branch Manager and his staff, Karen are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are great too and the camp site is very close to MTR station. I like the coffee machines and there are some good events after work as well. Hence, I made up my mind to upgrade my membership to fixed desk accordingly. Look forward to another one more year of membership.
