The location is great. The views although facing west...we're good from the 29th floor. Loves our stay..easy to check in after hours. Nice and modern. Own parking available. Communal areas, including BBQ, Swimming pool, and The Spa!!. Was hot ...in all ways,
Asked for and paid for an ocean front view room, was provided a west facing room (overlooking Pac Fair) for the same cost.
Spoke to the manager asking to be moved to a room that we paid for and were told that our 'opinion' of an ocean front room was incorrect and that we were able to see the ocean when we left the building and walked there...
Booked twice in our trip stay at Broadbeach. Lovely stay with beautiful views. Facilities great & feels like home. Location convenient with shops, restaurants, beach, public transport. Check in and out was easy breeze with friendly staff - particularly Kylie for her customer service and prompt to issues.
Just checked in.. if I could I would walk straight out.. for me, a holiday is not so much the actual hotel but the entire experience. The receptionist was arguing with a customer on the phone as I walked in. My first impression was pretty bad.. I had to wait for her to stop arguing before myself and another customer got served. While we stood and listened to the argument unfold.
I’ve then been given a room I did not pay for. When I politely asked if I have been given the correct room she replied with ‘the hotel is fully booked’.. not replying to my question.. I really don’t care, I shouldn’t have been allowed to purchased a room this morning online if it was fully booked and that room would not be available. Why was it available online at 10am?? I would have gone somewhere else.
No point even talking to the receptionist. Don’t want an argument in the first hour of turning up after witnessing how she just dealt with another customer.
Nice place for a family getaway. However, service was unfriendly, doesnt really seem to care. Also the washing machine in our appartment didnt work. It wouldnt spin properly and sounded like it was about to fall apart.
