A real 4* Hotel with 4* service, very probably coming from a glorious past ... now needing some refurbishing on the carpets, still the pricing during covid times is exceptional for what you get in the room
Well presented and clean hotel, central location and a nice Caffe within, shame it's not open later and you don't get complimentary coffee as there's no coffee in the room Reception lady on check in was very helpful
Would expect the bath plug to work, why haven't they fixed it. Beds not particularly comfortable, sure mine had a dip in it and could hear the lift all night as well as building work outside. Breakfast not too bad considering what's going on but would expect them to be able to grill bread.
We stayed 4 nights at this hotel, the location was amazing and the room size good.
However, we experienced a few things that make us very uncomfortable.
I emailed the Hotel 2 weeks before arriving requesting a nice good room and when I was checking asked for it again and the receptionist said - all our rooms are good, yet she allocated us in 406 room on the 5th floor, right next to the only public toilet in the whole hotel, the room smelled so bad and we could hear people going to do their business all the time. The breakfast was horrible - nothing like on the website - no choice of even toasted bread, such a disappointing factor for us. The lift was sometimes working and also no even once we had the room cleaned or room service available.
Comfortable hotel, great staff and beautiful historic view. Special thanks to the 2 gentlemen at the reception. They were very knowledgeable and solution oriented as they helped us about our issue with car parking (hotel is in ZTL zone). Thanks for your hospitality. Wish to see you again.
Amazing location since it is close to the train station and the Duomo. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful breakfast view and service. Very clean rooms. Highly recommended for the price.
