One of the very best Scandic in the city. Perfect location to visit the different neighborhoods. The restaurant is not interesting however, over priced and too many nice alternatives in 500mtrs radius. Eat out for cheaper and better !
Location of the hotel is great, the staff friendly but...
Breakfast:
- Dry buns (from the day before?) the first day (2nd day fresh ones).
- The reduced breakfast due to COVID-19 is on a 1-2 star level. No vegetables (cucumber, pepper etc.) to put on your sandwich. Omelette and scrambled eggs are a half warm powder(?) substance which tastes of nothing.
Room:
- The pillows had stains and were old but the service was excellent when I told the staff and it was corrected (new pillows and linen) within 10 minutes
- Bring your own shower head with you if you want to use the shower. The installation one is a environmental friendly one which reduces the water pressure, unfortunately so much that it is almost impossible to take a proper shower.
Bar:
- okay lobby bar with danish beer prices
- personally I have difficulties to understand that I have to pay 29 DKK (almost 4 €) for a very small glass of peanuts to have with the beer (rethinking the concept might be good?)
Due to the location and the fact it’s great to go running around the “lakes” in front of the hotel I will most likely book it when I’m in Copenhagen next time again, it would just be nice if the hotel management had a look at some details.
Modern hotel and great, central location from which to discover Copenhagen.
I was only using the conference room. It was in good clean state. And had good A/V equipmrnt
