I booked an 8m2 office in Tuborg Havn(Denmark) with my companion for the price of 12.000DKK/month total, excl. VAT. We ended up with a total expense of, hold your horses, 39.400DKK incl. VAT for the two months we spent there. The actual price we should have payed in total was: 30.000DKK incl. VAT according to the the price they offered us at the beginning of our lease. So in total, an extra expense of 9.400DKK in the course of only two months.. (imagine if we had stayed longer)
The extra expense is listed on the bill as "Administrative support", which we never received any of. The manager cannot specify why the bill is there, but remains adamant that we pay.
If the hidden fees and lack of transparency doesn't say enough about Regus' bureaucratic ways of treating their customers, maybe the fact, that you manually have to ask for your security deposit back when you terminate your lease, will. Otherwise they keep it for themselves.

A partner and I started the year 2020 with a small room for two people. The opportunity to sign short contracts, 1 month continuously, with a relatively low deposit, meant that we could get started smoothly in a professional office environment with low efforts. After that, we have been able to flexibly adapt our need for office space during the year by adding / upgrading with more and larger rooms at short notice in step with new recruitment. Today, a year later, we have moved out and have our own office on Vester Volgade. But the solution Regus has been able to offer us during the first growth phase has been absolutely central to being able to scale up our business to today's 20 employees.
