I've been going there for 6 years, and even more in September 2020 where I spent almost every noon in 10 days of vacation. on the contrary, I never tire of it. Even if this year I was there alone with my little dog who had the right to come too.
welcoming place and staff, the food is very good, the prices are very correct. and can't wait to go back in september again. i recommend anyone passing in the area.
Has the cook changed ?! We had taken a Berthoud and unlike before (7 years ago) it did not have the same consistency and the same taste (white wine instead of Madeira ?!)

The restaurant Le Chalet, part of the hotel Le Kandahar, is a very good table in Châtel. Even if it is located below the village, it is worth the detour. A superb chalet-style setting, tasty and generous local and traditional cuisine will be served with a smile and a lot of kindness.
Perfect hotel and very friendly owner. Good food. We have been going there every year for 5 years.
