I had so much fun in this place!
I came by myself for a few days and first of all the place is amazing! So beautiful and the rooms are very very nice the shower is clean and beautiful
Second, the staff is amazing, they will take care of everything you need with smile and loving approach
The coffee place is good and the bar in the night, great vibe and music great people!
I had so much fun that I stay for 10 days instead of 4 and I’ve made friends for life.

This is my ²nd time staying at this particular property. I have been in multiple Selina all over Central & South America, in fact I am Luna Member and unfortunately the brand is behaving more like a hotel and less like a hostal from certain time to this point on. We arrived on Jan 28th at 4am and there was no one designated to manage the reception until 10am, I believe because of the Covid19. A very nice guy took care of us and offered us to sleep at the cinema while we wait til 3pm for the check in time, which according to the property can't be earlier than that, even if the rooms are available. I made my reservation through Booking.com since consisted of a private room with two doubles and private bathroom for 276,931COP with breakfast included (and was cheaper). I wasn't into exposing my son and myself to sleep in the same room with other travelers due to the Pandemic; at the end I didn't end up in the private, the person who received us placed us in a 6 bedroom for 100000 COP to avoid sleep at the cinema. By the check in time I got the option to book the private room for 276,931COP for two nights, however, the private didn't have a private bathroom. We decided to remain in the 6 bedroom that was blocked just for us. Must tell that if you travel between provinces by bus at night and you plan to arrive to Bogotá, the high volume music in the mornings won't let you rest after 9am, so reconsider if you backpacking through the Region. The ¹st time I stayed on this Selina I was placed in an upper level, reason why probably I didn't noticed all the noise coming from the rooms located upstairs. From my personal perspective Selina Hostels are currently attracting wealthy tourists and families, and less nomad travelers (I must say their internet is OUTSTANDING). This particular Selina doesn't not count with a laundry area, like other properties they have, instead, they count with a next day laundry service, thing that travelers must be consider if travel light like me. Luckily in this area there plenty hostals with same day laundry service and totally willing to go the extra mile on helping travelers like me. I was lucky I found Onde Pepe Candelos Hostel, where they helped us with our dirty laundry while we drank a couple of cold Poker Beer at their marvelous roof top. We were coming from Villavieja in Huila, where we spend 3 ngts with no facilities to wash our clothes. I have to take the opportunity to give special thanks to Candelos Hostel on going the extra mile helping us with the laundry afterhours (6:30pm) and for not giving us a no for answer.
This is a must Visit Place in La Candelaria for all the tourists visiting Bogota. Beautiful Ambience with a Pool table and nice view
Great hostel. We got a private room and it was a good stay. It is expensive but def worth it.
Got caught in Bogotá during COVID lockdown measures and needed a place to stay. This was a great place to get stuck in They have sweet long-term apartment rentals that are really comfortable and well-priced, esp compared to Airbnbs, which are pretty damn expensive in this city. They have a coworking space on the second floor too. Staff really go out of their way to help you out.
