Joined the co-working space this week, and while the space itself is stunning, I am left a bit underwhelmed by the experience of becoming a member. I had reached out to them via their website twice over the past three months in preparation for my move in order to schedule a tour. No response either time. Eventually, I decided to simply show up. I was helped, and quickly signed up, but was certainly left feeling like I was bothering them at that point, as I "didn't have a scheduled appointment" (sigh). Second, I joined this space particularly because of its on site gym. However, only after signing up was I made aware that the gym is not accessable to me until my ID card arrives. We are now going into Day 3 of my membership, and still no card. When I asked, I was told likely it would arrive by Monday. When I further requested if they could do anything to accommodate my gym access/maybe speak with the gym that they share space with, I was met with a shrug. So, ultimately, I am looking at maybe three weeks of actually being able to use the space/gym as I had intended, despite paying for a full month.
This ID card element is such a silly and unnecessary hurdle. I have worked remotely in places around the world-- Bali, Florence, Berlin, Lisbon, NYC. None of them had such an antiquated sign up system.
Regretting having spent the money to only get partial service.
**Edit** OneCoWork quickly reached out to me regarding an issue and fixed it in just hours. They're top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to return next time I'm in Spain.
If you are looking for a place to be productive and comfortable at the same time, this is where you need to be. Surrounded by inspiring people and great staff. A perfect location and a lovely interior design. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a place to be productive, grow network possibilities and to simply enjoy the day with a wonderful view.
Very spacious and stylish working area. Incredibly talented and inspiring people in the space. Onecowork is set up to have a very integrated community feel. Best place I have worked at. Only criticisms would be that I would like to see them accommodating standing desks.
