AVOID THIS HOTEL. I booked a cancellable tariff, cancelled on time and got a cancelling confirmation and the hotel charged me anyway, despite reselling my room to another customer and being full that night.
I sent loads of emails and made lots of phonecalls but they still won't refund me, after almost 2 months. They even refused to put me in contact with the hotel manager. I will have to report the fraud to the police.
Hotel manager, if you read this and if you care about your customers could you kinldy get in touch with me?
Good hôtel, lovely swimming pool. Helpful and friendly staff
The hotel is old, but clean, and the staff was friendly and smiling.
Very comfortable bed. Need to bring some toiletries just basic shower gel provided. Nice walk along the river nearby. A bit further to rail station need a taxi with bags €10. Talk of a shuttle to station, not running when I was there. Good pool. Nice breakfast, range of breads, meats, cheese and jams. Eggs to boil yourself. Breakfast cereals. Restaurant for evening meal looked good, but a bit lacking in atmosphere. A good 25 minute walk takes you into the centre with lots of restaurants and cafes. Near to Archaeology museum. Nothing romantic just very practical at a good price. Quite a way out
An excellent as expected Ibis Styles Hotel. Great breakfast and evening meals are good. The pool and terrace are the high points.
