It felt like I had stepped back in time whilst I walked through the streets of Annecy! I have been to Venice in Italy a few times, and I really felt I preferred Annecy! So gorgeous and the people were so friendly
Most beautiful part of the town. In the evenings there is a buzz about the place as the many restaurants fill up and overflow into the street and people dining next to the canals. The street lights reflect off the canal and the beautiful old buildings are lit up all against a mountain backdrop. Great to wonder round. During the day there is a large market with a great selection of food.
Beautiful but during holidays very sunny.
Very picturesque place... Rather empty because of covid now but usually bustling with people and vendors restaurant and bars
This is a really nice town to visit. If you have time visit the lake and the museum/fort as well. The old town is not very big but it has a lot of shopping and restaurants to enjoy.
