Very stylish and affordable place! This office space is really inspiring for creative work. There are a few excellent places for lunch nearby as well (Powoli, Wilk Syty). Very friendly and simply cool staff working here! Highly recommended :)
Positive things:
1. Location. City center. 5 min walking to tram and bus stations, a lot of shops, services around (lawyers, notary, etc.).
2. Flexible working hours. You can get your own key and leave and/or come whenever you want.
3. Flexible payment. It's possible to pay for the previous month, and payment will depend on how many days you actually spent there.
4. Price is one of the lowest in Wroclaw.
Negative:
1. Internet connection breaks several times per day. If you do not need to be online all the time, it might suit you. But I do need. Whenever I had a video conference calls (even on lowest quality settings), I got interrupted countless number of times, especially in the room which is devoted for calls and meetings and called a "meeting room". When I asked owner to fix it, the answer I got was "What do you want me to do? We do have issues with connection, but it bothers nobody except you".
It's not possible to use 3G/LTE neither - signal is horrible because of thick walls.
2. The only "meeting room" where you can talk (call or meet with somebody) is just a corridor to the toilet (!). So, be prepared that all sound will be shared with you and the person you are calling or meeting with. Also, that means that you're not really private when you're busy in WC room.
3. The owner works in the same shared space. And I found him to be very noisy: people call him or he calls somebody several times per day, he leaves phone ringing loudly and goes away (I guess, he doesn't know where is the "silent mode" in his phone because he never used it). He likes to talk right from place he is sitting at (which was exactly in the center of the big shared room that days), either by phone or with his friends, sometimes for a long time (a hour). At the same time, if you try to answer the call while sitting in the room, he may ask you to go to the "meeting room" or change your seat, etc. It may be tricky, since there's no stable wi-fi signal in the meeting room, and changing the seat does not have much effect (see next point)...
4. They turn radio on during working hours. It's not very loud, but because this is one big room with brick walls and concrete floor, you hear the music (as well as any other sounds or voices) very clearly no matter how far you're from the source of the sound. For a couple of days shouldn't be a problem, but when you work there 40 hours per week, it becomes annoying. Why don't just use earphones?
5. The place looks cool on photos, designed in loft style, and maybe it was like that few years ago, but it's far from that in real life now: it's a ground floor of a very old building (kamienica), dark, cold (even in summer, not to tell about other seasons, but one may find it as a pro), the walls and ceiling have signs of water leakage in some places.
As a summary:
One day I was told by the administrator that I and the other guy _have_ to leave the table we were sitting with explanation "because the owner wants to sit where you're sitting". Which is totally understandable, he is the owner and can do whatever he wants. But because of the way how it was told I found it to be a great chance to find some better place, and I found it!
Location, working hours, and other great things kept me in CO12 for almost a year, despite of all the negative aspects, like internet (dis)connection, cold, etc. But I didn't know that days that there're better, quiter, modern places in Wrocław with even better location and price.
It's ok for short time but industrial design is not best design for office.
A big plus for nice, trouble-free service.
Designer space with a creative atmosphere in the city center. Unlimited access to delicious coffee. Great location, intimate work atmosphere. Inspiring interior.
