Regarding litigation between Photon Control Inc. and Photon Control R&D Ltd., Michael Weston, Christopher Weston, David C. Dueck, and other parties, this matter has been fully settled out-of-court. On April 10, 2017, in a news release titled “Photon Control Announces Completion of Settlement Agreement with Photon R&D”, Photon Control announced an agreement to settle litigation.
As part of the news release, Photon Control Board Chair Neil McDonnell, is quoted as follows: “We would like to thank Chris and Mike Weston and David Dueck for the many contributions they have made to the success of the Company since 2008. In particular, Mr. Dueck’s conduct throughout this process belies any negative comments previously made by others regarding his character.”
On April 17, 2017, Photon Control issued a follow-up news release: “Photon Control Announces the Closing of Photon R&D Transaction”. As stated in the news release, “Both parties have settled all outstanding legal disputes.”
Fancy website. BUT what is conveniently hidden from the website of i-onConnect are who the financiers are. They are not mentioned for good reason because they were ungracefully sued out of their previous company Photon Control R&D, after having attempted to steal $4.5 million from Photon Control. Micheal Weston and David Dueck used Micheal's son Christopher Weston, then CEO to withdaw the money, and who ultimately lost his position. It was an affair that can still be read about on the Vancouver Sun website.
This is relevant because as i-onConnect advertises that they would like to 'help startups', a prospective customer must know about who they are getting into business with.
