I booked two rooms for our group of three. My elderly mother, adult daughter and I stayed at the Best Western Hotel in James Bay. It was our first visit and we found that it worked well. My daughter had an early morning diagnostic procedure at a nearby hospital. Getting there was simple. The community around the hotel provided great walking and a full range of things to do and see - even with COVID precautions in place. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. My mother uses a walker and had no problems getting around in the public areas or in the room. We would definitely stay their again.
It is an absolute wonderful place to be. I cannot express my gratitude enough for what they have done for our family. My heartfelt Thank you for everything. They were very friendly, and have compassion for their jobs to take care of their guests. I would highly suggest this place to anyone. My family and I we have gone through the absolute worst and the staff here were there for us genuinely every moment. This place from my experience is more than 5 stars.

It is disappointing to see Front desk treat ppl different by race. It's not new when you experience it in your life. To be specific Katie and Christa could use reprimand and training in being professional no matter who it is. My parents are guests there. My father suffered a heart attack and to have people who come off friendly but in actuality aren't really could learn to be kind. They dont have the right to talk to people from the get go. I'm just sorry my parents have to be there still. The world and life is challenging enough than to have people like these 2 ladies speak and the body language they set off. If there was zero stars I would have put negative stars.
nice location with underground parking. Even got breakfast which is one of the few providing such these days
