Best museum in Venice. It is relatively small, people are nice although under renovation but the major pieces are shown. Come early as it is empty and you get the museum for yourself
Some excellent renaissance art in a beautiful building, but spoilt by poor visitor experience, with many of the galleries moved round,so both the printed guide and the audio guide didn't work well. We booked, but still had to stand in a queue as people were admitted in batches.
This would be a five-star review if it concerned only the art within the museum, but the organisation in the museum was bad: there was no clear route around due to all the closures for maintenance (the sculptures section on the ground level was largely empty of people as the route was marked only by a misleading toilets sign). Secondly there were insufficient staff to enforce the social distancing guidelines despite one overloaded employee doing her best to try.
Loved the Gallery and visited on their late evening opening. My girlfriend and I were the only visitors. Don't miss this gem.
