am writing this review for people who are considering 7Gate as a co-working space. The people in this office are very nice. Very friendly and accommodating. The price is also very good.
However, if noise level and occasionally loud conversation in a foreign language bother you then it is not the right place for you. Some days the open area is very noisy with a burst of conversations and interruptions. Some days it is relatively quiet (other than Water Street constant noise). If you are open to wearing a noise-cancelling headphone then it should be OK.
If you do not want to wear a headphone then do not bother to get a desk at 7Gate. This may change over time as they are taking some measures to reduce the noise level but it is hard to have everyone follow the rules.
After trying out just about every coworking space & accelerator in Vancouver the last decade...I can confidently say that this is the biggest gem in terms of value and being around people who have your best interests at heart. The location is unbeatable and it has everything you need for space, desks, Meeting rooms, and a great kitchen. Highly recommended you get a tour before they fill up.

7 Gate has been our home since November 2018 and it's such a perfect venue!
We love the modern decor, with industrial red brick walls, great lighting and an open friendly space, paired with it's prime location on Water Street, great transit connections and welcoming atmosphere and a managing team who are a pleasure to work with - it's just perfect for us.
Plus our attendees love the venue!
Having used a number of small event spaces in Vancouver, 7 Gate is by far our favourite.
I love this space. It is very convenient because it is close to the sky train. The cost is reasonable. The atmosphere is fantastic. I will definitely recommend this space to everyone who are going to do workshop or seminar.
Big fantastic kitchen - lots of room to hang out, eat and chat. A harmonious mix of smart, friendly and kind-hearted individuals. Diverse expertise in the house and everybody I've met here is ready to share their knowledge and experience.
