What an amazing spot! I had the most amazing experience. The staff was exceptional. They all knew my name within a few days and always asked how I was doing and what my plans were for the day/evening. I felt like family. My room was clean but there was some noice in the night. Special shout out to Victor, he made my experience very fun. I will come back again FOR SURE!
Amazing place ! a touch of paradise here. From the beach view, to the food, to the events I really enjoyed my time here. The service is amazing and everything is done to make your stay unforgettable. Definitely my favorite address to stay in Tulum
Got an ocean view suite. The room was nice. The location was great. I wish I could give 5 stars, but can't because the staff stole from my room and the hotel handled it poorly.
Housekeeping never came during the day, so I went to the front desk and asked for cleaning. Housekeeping was gone, but they sent someone to make the bed and change the towels. I was gone during this time.
When I returned, electronics were missing. I have a bluetooth tracking device on the electronics, so I can see that it was in my room when I left and then not there when I returned. I showed the staff that and then even the location where the tracking device popped up after I left. The staff said they'd check the cameras and that the person who cleaned my room was the only one who went in there, but it was impossible they could have stolen because they get checked. They denied it could have happened and said there was nothing they could do to help.
I've never had anything stolen from my room by hotel staff in all my travels, it wasn't a huge deal, but I'm disappointed by how The Selina dealt with it and took no responsibility.
I loved this hotel so much that I booked a month here. The staff is incredible. They are kind, friendly, and really make the Selina Tulum feel like home. Surprisingly, the concierge service is on par with that of the Four Seasons in San Francisco. The co-working space is good and has the best Wi-Fi along the beach road, the shared kitchen is a great bonus, and it's on a beautiful stretch of beach, where you can walk to lots of great restaurants and nightlife. it is one of the few hotels on the beach that offers 24-hour air conditioning and I appreciate that they carry every room type from fancy suites to dorm rooms. This provides a well-rounded clientele. I can't wait to go back to the smiling faces and wonderfully supportive staff! Thank you Abigail, Victor, Ari, Dani, Marco, and the rest of the great team here for taking such good care of me and my special needs dog!
Excellent service from the staff, all of them make you feel at home and part of Selina´s family. The food at the restaurant it´s great, they have vegetarian options and an awesome pizza. The location is perfect, you have paradise views all the time and you are near the best places to visit in the hotel zone. I would totally return to Selina Tulum
