As far as value, this is best Airbnb I've stayed in. When I told people I met in Tulum where I was staying (location) and what I paid, their mouths dropped in envy. You're three blocks off the main strip in Centro in an area that felt safe to me. Dalia is your host, and she speaks perfect English if you don't speak Spanish. She's incredibly sweet and helpful.
I stayed 1 month, and while I was there she gave me connections for great restaurants, a gym, and several other types of places I was interested in. In-house food, drinks, and even laundry services are available if you choose to use them.
I just felt at home at Elixir. I felt at peace, and I would definitely stay there again.
Be cautious when booking a place here. My "month contract" was ended two weeks early. I was not given a refund for the two weeks that I had paid for at Elixir.
Dalia will show you the place, and she is nice. However, the company is not good and is tricky (as the other review here noted).
There are many great places to stay in Tulum. I would not recommend Elixir.
