We stayed at Be Tulum last month and the property was breathtaking. Love how laid back everything is and the room we had was amazing! The food was also really good and they had an awesome bar selection. Highly recommend for couples and friends getaways. The day we checked in the front desk clerk Diego was super accommodating and went over the top to ensure that we had a great stay! Diego even checked in on us throughout our stay to see if there was anything we needed. He totally made our stay stellar! I love how attentive and courteous their staff all are... will definitely go back again!
Stayed in one their best units, the Aire Master Suite. The cleanliness of the room and the upkeep made my stomach curl. The sofa wreaked of mildew, and if you sat on it, you did too. Cleaning staff would pick up our dirty face clothes and towels from the floor, and re-hang them and fold them. The room didn’t come with all the stocked toiletries it was supposed to. The service was poor at the restaurants, the included breakfasts was mediocre. You pay for a 5 plus hotel but expect 2 or 3 star service, cleanliness, and experience.
The property and location are incredible though.
Really disappointing behavior of one of the employees called “Riquel”. My wife and I wanted to join our friends who had a table at this establishment and got refused on the door like a 15 year old going for the first time to the club.
We are VIP guests at many of the other places here in Tulum but for me a good host needs to handle the situation in a different way than refusing their $$$ paying customers.
Luckily we found another place close by where we could wait for our friends who than told us in the end that the party at be-Tulum was disappointing in many ways.
Beautiful hotel but I was just a visiting guest and they asked me - when I was eating - 3 times if they could give me the bill. I find this very unpolite just wait until I finished !!! I wanted to pay cash and it was not allowed. Of course no one told me. Well finally I could but they don’t give you the change ... of course... i won’t go back.
Pretty decor, a lot of green and lush leaves, very touristy so great to hang out and lovely music. The service was impecable and I felt very welcomed. Prices are a little high like in all the hotel area but it is worth it. A must visit when in Tulum!
