The room and breakfast are good. But the dinner? That's one thing why i say no URH for us anymore. We tried 2 times eating there but is was so terrible we went out every day to eat. A shame because we did have it included in our stay. I wouldn't even give this inedible food to my dogs.
Room was horrible! Our room was next to an elevator which would make a lot of noise, we requested a room change and we got another room next to the room with the motor of the elevator!!! Every day we would be woken up around 0800 am by the noise. They also accept pets, and there was another room nearby ours that had a dog, and when the guests left for breakfast, it wouldn't stop barking.
Two times we had to ask for an extra towel because housekeeping just left 1, we called the reception, kindly asked for the towel and half an hour later we were still waiting for it. One of us had to dress up and go to the reception to ask for the towel. The first time the woman at the reception was not aware of it, and the second time the towel was brought to the wrong room.
To top our stay at URH, food during breakfast and dinner was HORRIBLE. Pastry's were old (you could notice that they were at least 2 days old, a guy in the table next to me took a bite and spit it out immediately). We stayed here 5 nights, had dinner at the hotel just 3. Something we noticed is that they would make fish one day, and the next they would put a sauce over the left over fish so it would look different, same fish for the 3 days that we had dinner at the buffet. Disgusting! Will never come back to this hotel. We still enjoyed a lot being in Tossa and we didn't let this hotel experience ruin our holidays though.
Very good hotel. Perfect location. Nice pool and bar. Only 10 minutes to beach, loads of restaurants and bars nearby and shops. Not far to old town . Rooms spacious, water pressure in shower fantastic. Very good breakfast. Bring travel kettle tho if want coffee in room. Would stay again.
Fabulous stay at URH. Plenty of food. Was stuffed! Shame we had 47 kids in tow!
Food good. Staff helpful and pleasant. Clean and tidy public areas. Bedrooms and bathroom clean and basic. Good for 3 star. 2 good outdoor pools.
