This has been my go to place for content and events production for the past 3 years. Qasim and the team are incredible partners in those ventures. The coworking spaces are great and the connections I make there are valuable.
Such a great experience. My team and I recorded an interview at StartWell and we dealt with Qarim. He was so welcoming and made the whole experience incredible.
Easily the best Co-working space in the city of Toronto. The staff are unmatched in making you feel like family and keeping everything in order. Thank you to the Startwell team for making the beginning of my business so successful.
Pros:
- Cheap(er) Rates
- Barista Drinks are good
Cons:
-Absolutely HORRIBLE communication from the owner (one example: Had been over a week where a 4 story building had 1 working men's toilet stall. He said he had a handyman that would deal with it. When I said it needs to get solved asap he said "its not my problem, speak to Jen(the manager)")
- Charged us for 2 MONTHS after we moved out. When asking for a refund, it took almost a whole week to acknowledge it and then 3 WEEKS to issue the refund.
-Switched internal systems thus "lost" about a years worth of invoices. It took over 10 emails and 5 phone calls to get a response.
I would HIGHLY recommend finding a different co-working space.
This is the place to be from a meeting room and co-working space standpoint. A welcoming vibe and environment. Excellent event and facilities management.
