Putting my child back into daycare in July was a big decision, Amanda and all of the staff at the Workaround put my fears at ease and created a wonderful environment for my son. After 6 months of COVID and no one holding my child other than my husband and I, he adapted in no time and is jumping in my arms with excitement at drop off.
They take temperatures everyday, and ask a series of questions for safety precautions and create a safe and fun environment. I love seeing the videos of him dancing and laughing all day!
Further, the work environment has been great - all desks are separated, everyone is wearing masks when walking around, I definitely feel safe and enjoying coming to work!
I am so happy that the Workaround exists! The team there is awesome and were able to work with me to create a plan to allow me to return to work part-time over the summer. The ECEs took great care of my son and the flexibility of dropping in/out throughout the day was terrific. My transition back to work would not have been as smooth without the Workaround!
I've been using the workaround for a few months now and I absolutely love it. Great staff, great location and just has great energy.
I am so lucky the workaround opened in my neighborhood! I'm still on maternity leave, but as these things go, I have a few important things to do that I haven't been able to get to. It is great to be able to drop my daughter off at childcare and get some work done. And she gets some good social time too! The people who run the workaround are really friendly and welcoming and don't make me feel like a lesser member because I'm just a periodic drop in, rather than an every day member. The space is great with lots of diverse seating. Being in a room with other working parents just has a really great energy. Again, I'm so happy that workaround opened and I hope it is successful for a long time!
I recently held an event at the Workaround, and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff replies to e-mails promptly, the space itself is stunning, and the process of booking a meeting space was simple and straight-forward from beginning to end. I HIGHLY recommend the Workaround if you are looking for a professional, easy-to-use meeting space. I wish I could give them more than five stars.
