perfect work space for pc worker except wifi connection (maybe Thinkpad relation issue? Apple device can access 200MB/sec but Thinkpad gain only 20MB/sec...)
I love CASE Shinjuku! I recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, bright and airy space to work. Morishita and her staff was very welcoming and helpful even when we would do something wrong (we aren’t Japanese and can’t read the signs about coffee, exits, etc). Their English was also good and we were able to communicate fairly well.
The drop-in space easily accommodated my team of 13 people and we had plenty of free outlets and monitors available for use. The noise level was low and we were able to be productive. The music selection was good and when it wasn’t, they were happy to change it. There were also a few nice perks like a vending machine and a lunch event. For a quick lunch, KFC was on the first floor, Lawson’s across the street, and a wealth of restaurants all around.
The only cons I can think of was that the WiFi went out a few times for a few minutes during our 5 days there. Otherwise, everything else was perfect! Overall, a unique place to work and meet great people!
I went there for the first time the other day. It was great to be able to work quietly. It was very convenient because it was just outside Takadanobaba station. I was able to work while drinking coffee and was able to concentrate. I want to go again. There is a stationery store in the building next to it, so if you need something, you can procure it there.
Like a fashionable cafe (^-^). BGM flowing quietly is also Yoshi. Though it is a scene, it feels no problem as far as talking with a friend in a meeting (I feel that the people around me are allowed to smile even if I sometimes laugh ... Sumimassen ;;;)
One hour 500 yen. 2000 yen over 4 hours.
Mineral water is free.
There are vending machines and coffee.
Food and drink are available.
The fourth floor of a building in Kentucky.
I will work here again
It is in an old multi-tenant building, but the interior is stylish and calm.
Wi-Fi is also provided, so it is easy to use.
The toilet is shared with other floors, and it feels like a toilet in a mixed-use building.
