If I could rate 0 starts I would. We went here to get a room after a bad experience at the neighbor hotel. The service here was as low as the other one. This receptionist also looked at us like we were really dirty or something. I am so disappointed of this. We have been in France for 3 month and never experienced this kind of behavior. I hope no one else does. We went to the budget hotel instead and there we had the best experience and the nicest receptionist
Room was too small for 3 people! It literally was a room for 2. I had to move the beds around for our luggage to fit in and make the room safe, since we had the top floor room with a slanted roof which we bumbed our heads everytime we passed by the bed.
Although the room is small, but coffee, tea and mineral water for free 24/7
Very recommend. The location was wonderful located so close to the staion. There were few more Ibis hotels around the area so it was a little hard to find the spot. Room was quite large even though many reviews said the room is too small. The bathroom was clean and simple. No bathtub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Spoke English. Free tea and coffee is served 24hrs at the ground floor. Breakfast was not so much of a wide variety but basic menus were covered such as coffee, fruits, yogurt, cereal, bread, etc. I loved that the checkout time was 12:00pm.
A mediocre front hides clean, cozy, well-refurbished rooms and surprisingly up-to-date bathrooms. Location cannot be beat, with old city literally steps away, train station a 5 minute walk and numerous restaurants, cafes and shops within 2 blocks. Value for money I put this in the top tier of places that have really impressed me. Next time I'm in Strasbourg, this will be my temp home.
