Nice and clean. Very nice and helpful people at the front desk. Very good breakfast. Every day you have to specify the hour when you want to go to breakfast next day.
To tell you the truth, I selected this hotel because the hotel I usually go was fully booked. The staff at the reception was great and pleasant they even have me an upgrade which was much appreciated! You can imagine the room was great. A mix between traditional and modern. Most importantly a huge bathtub with bubbles! The night was silent and not disturbed by the neighbors getting in and out of their room. The main problem with this hotel is the food, it's the main reason it lost two stars... Came in late after a long day at work and was looking forward to a good meal... Don't hold your breath... There is no cook at the hotel only reheated meals... Quite expensive for the taste... No worries, they'll make up points at the breakfast, not as bad but nothing exciting... The food was not great, the choice was poor and the room was badly lit...
Anyway, my suggestion: go there for a good night sleep but step out for the meals!
My parents stayed at this Hotel over christmas time. The rooms are modern and clean. The location of the Hotel is perfect. It is walkable to the main train station and you are just a few minutes away from the city center. The hotel Staff was also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone traveling to Strasbourg.
Excellent staff, great location. Room was adequate with funky plumbing (toilet separated from bathroom; suited me but not the wife!). Breakfast featured the worst scrambled eggs I've seen in my lifetime! Did I mention that the staff were excellent? We'd go back again.
Very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and great. The rooms are cozy. The beds are comfortable & queen sized. So happy that we stayed here.
