We came down here to do a mini-vacation because I met a Bluegreen rep at Bass Pro in Auburn Hills MI who gave me a great deal. I knew that we’d have to go to this presentation and I was a bit apprehensive. I really did need to be.
My plan was to go into the presentation with an open mind. I am always willing to buy something if it makes sense. As we listened to Robert it seemed like a really good deal. A great approach to vacationing. Evan gave us a tour and then we sat down to talk numbers.
We didn’t end up signing up. It just didn’t make sense for us right now. We are about to fire up a major refinance of our house to do a major remodel and so it just didn’t fit in. While they did try to listen to our circumstances and made additional offers, they were very professional. Was there sales pressure? Yes. Was it “high pressure”? No. I felt they did their job well and were courteous the entire time. I will reconsider buying into this program in a year or two when we are done with our home remodel.
We went here because of a cheap vacation trial through Bass Pro. Although you have to listen to their 2 hour pitch yo try to get you to buy into their vacation timeshares, it wasnt that bad. The guy doing the presentation made it fun & enjoyable. I would suggest that if you want people to possibly purchase a vacation package through them, they should have had us to stay on the property in the location we went to, to get a better example of what it would be like to stay at one of the resorts.
Love the updated units however missing the jetted soaker tub. Also disappointed to not have a washer/dryer like promised in unit. And game room is closed which was another disappointment.
Great resort, nice location and staff. Rooms are very clean and spacious. We will definitely be back.
Thoroughly displeased with the entire process. I felt as though we were lied to from the very beginning of the process just to get us in the door. They pitch the financing like your buying a car. High monthly payments for something I may not be able to use all the time, no thanks.
