Beautiful hotel in the best location in town. The Saturday’s market is right in front of the hotel. There are some parking in the front and a cute little terrace for those warmer days . Inside are a mixture of modern and decor and business like atmosphere with a pool table and nice bar. We were the only customers so service was rather quick.
We had earlier been warned that the whole process of exchanging a foreign drivers licence for a French drivers licence was a nightmare.
However the woman who sits at the Reception and also assists with such matters was excellent!
She very competently and effectively checked our documentation and uploaded the same to the online portal, giving us good practical advice while doing so.
This woman is a credit to the Sous-Préfecture of Sarlat-la-Canéda!

Excellent proximity to the old city yet set in a magical garden. Comfortable room (suggest milk supply for bedroom use) and special breakfast on the patio. Hosts very helpful. In all, a special experience.
