I attended a presentation on machine learning and I was quite annoyed by the noise in the whole building. The conference room where we had a presentation didn't have a door and people who were outside just didn't care. I understand that they want to embrace the philosophy of open space, but sometimes you need quite atmosphere to be able to concentrate. I just didn't like it.
