Reviews from visitors:
Excellent, friendly staff. Fantastic art.
I ❤️ LewAllen Galleries. The airiness of the gallery adds to the beauty. You can sit and take it all in or browse at your own leisure. The Bernard Chaet exhibition is what I recently enjoyed. Great staff, no pressure and the location in the Railyard just makes it all the more convenient!
Very nice gallery. Lewis was super knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Great art, incredibly friendly staff (big improvement over the jaded characters on Canyon Road!), and beautiful spaces. We were fortunate to see the Woody Gwynn exhibit when we visited, which was breathtaking. Also saw two by Brian Rutenberg, whose exhibition LewAllen had hosted a few weeks prior to our visit. (They had sold 80% of the exhibition!) These had to be seen, because no print or photograph could do justice to the extraordinary textures he achieves with oils. Almost sculptural. Wonderful gallery.
Wow! My first visit was for an art opening for Brian Rutenberg and Forrest Moses. The gallery may seem small from the outside, but is quite big and roomy on the inside. It also offers seats for you to sit and review selected paintings, just like an art museum. There were other works of art that were quite fabulous. I highly recommend this place to visit if you want to see some fantastic out-of-the-box art.
